Want a Quick Romantic Getaway to Tie the Knot?

Enjoy a beautiful scenic ride along the Clearwater River and land right at your destination: a lovely secluded Northwest lodge, nestled among tall ponderosa trees, overlooking the river and the Clearwater Mountains which enclose the lovely valley below. The High Country Inn offers a wonderful inclusive package for a romantic elopement, from the moment you land until time for you to depart.

Package includes:

A talented Christian minister, who can not only perform a meaningful ceremony uniting you two in marriage, but will accompany the ceremony with music and song appropriate for your special event. A lovely bridal bouquet and boutonniere will be provided, and following the ceremony, a champagne or wine toast and a tray of small hors d’oeuvres can be enjoyed on the deck or inside the inn. Your privacy is most important with time to just enjoy your day together, and innkeeper Jo Moore will plan your schedule to suit your own needs and interests. You will have your choice of one of our lovely Texas cabins or inside the inn, the Moose Room suite to relax in. Later, an intimate candlelight dinner will be served, with a special wedding cheesecake for two, and then you can either enjoy some of the amenities of the inn, such as the Catawampus Cabin, the hot tub, or a game of horseshoes, or just enjoy one another!

The following morning Jo will prepare a wonderful home-cooked breakfast with champagne mimosas, which you will enjoy in the inn’s great room, or if you’d rather, she’ll bring it to your room for you to share alone!

The scenery is beautiful, the summer night sky is awesome, away from city lights, and the sounds are pure nature! During the daytime, a hiking trail is nearby, fish hatcheries can be visited, Dwsorshak Dam is a main attraction, and a boat tour along the pristine lake can even be arranged. Or you just might want to hang out and share the day in solitude! Kiwi Air will meet and pick you up at whatever time you are ready to leave.

The High Country Inn has a full wine and beer bar for your enjoyment. Hard liquor is not included in our license to sell.
